Therapy can help you reconnect with your sources of power and renew your commitment to living a full and vibrant life.
Here are some things that I often collaborate on with my clients in therapy:
- Practicing consistent calmness
- Making successful life transitions (college, job, divorce, loss)
- Tapping into your purpose/passion
- Harmonizing your work/home responsibilities
- Developing a healthy relationship with your body
- Increasing confidence and independence
- Creating positive thought and behavior patterns
- Cultivating meaningful relationships
- Upgrading your emotional intelligence
Perhaps you have been feeling bad for awhile, and it recently got worse. Maybe a difficult experience has happened in your life that has thrown you off balance. Whatever lead you to reach out for help, the steps we will take together are clear.
First, we will tend to the problems that are currently causing you difficulties. Once we have a good understanding of the darkness in your life, we can work together to help you move towards the light. I will be listening intently and helping you to put words to your experiences and connect with your inner strengths and resources. I will also introduce you to new skills and ideas that can aid you in your journey to health and wellness. Most people find that they feel a whole new stability once they have completed this process.
Second, if you so choose, we will begin the deeper work of identifying the entrenched patterns and old coping mechanisms that keep you stuck in outdated behaviors and thinking patterns. This is an opportunity to do the proactive work that will decrease the likelihood of the same symptoms returning down the road. It’s a chance to rewrite the deep storylines of your life and move through the world in a way that’s more consistent with your values and who you want to be.
Last, we move into a maintenance mode where we identify practices that you can engage in regularly to continue to deepen the gains you’ve made through our work together and sustain the health you’ve achieved.
Please feel free to contact me via phone or email if you have any questions or would like to discuss the possibility of working together.
I look forward to meeting you!
